famous_quotes is a project that two individuals (Joshua Caps and 3D) have started in a joint effort. All of the quotes posted actually happened! It is quite as it sounds: a journal used for the purpose of providing quotes. Unfortunately, the quotes are not currently, but hopefully will one day be (because of this journal), famous. Why did we start this? haha, that is an excellent question. Honestly, we don't have a good reason. We just noticed that, when hanging out with the gang, a lot of extremely stupid, hilarious, or extremely smart things often end up being said, and we decided we were going to make a website for those quotes. But, livejournal is free and so we made a journal instead. We cannot promise routine updates because frankly, there are not going to be classic quotes every day, and maybe not even every week. Also, we're both lazy, and more importantly, forgetful, bastards.

We will identify who is saying the quote. Either by their nickname, or... surprise, their first name. And since this is a joint effort, we'll certainly try to sign either "-3D" or "-Joshua Caps" appropriately as to avoid confusion. Also, we'll each use a different icon for our posts/comments.

3D is a redneck. Joshua Caps is pretty close to being a hobo. We're both part Irish, both do quite enjoy alcohol and porn, and we're both happily taken (sorry ladies and possibly gents).

Featured numerous times throughout our entries, or at least, this is our prediction, is an individual named Sherwin . Sherwin, or so we like to call him, is a very strange young man. He's also available, but I'm honestly not sure whether that's good news for ladies, guys, or farm animals. But anyway it ends up going, he's still a nice guy. (=

For the record, neither Joshua Caps nor 3D are racist, sexist, homophobic, hobophobic, or any of the rest of things to have nature. However, we're going to post whatever quotes in their truest form, even if it has a hint of say, racism. This is not meant to offend you, we just ask that you view them with an open mind.

Also, if you are going to add us or comment, or whatever, we would like to ask up front that you be respectful. We're both nice guys, but we're not going to put up with your shit. Also, for the time being as we try and get this thing up off the ground we will not add anyone back, as to save us space that would normally be taken by friends' posts. However we will change this policy in time.
